Kweku Tandoh '05 - Masters in Telecommunications

Kweku Tandoh graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Ashesi in 2005. Kweku attended the St. Theresa’s School, after which he went to Mfantsipim School and then finally Ashesi. Kweku likes to refer to his years of schooling in Ghana as glorious ones.

After graduation Kweku landed a job at Rancard Solutions Ltd, Ghana where he was given the chance to contribute to the Africa’s Telecommunications industry. “The Rancard experience strengthened my value of teamwork in the pursuit of excellence, innovation and leadership” he says. Kweku’s Rancard experience helped him in his decision to pursue a postgraduate degree in Telecommunications. He is currently a student of University of Ulster, Northern Ireland.

“Ulster is a great place to study. Having experienced what the right kind of education can do with a person, I am very confident about the future. I look forward to giving back to my family, Ghana and Africa.”

The very soft-spoken Kweku absolutely adores children and supports Manchester United with a passion. He is also a budding musician. “Since my introduction to it a few years ago, I have developed an interest in Latin music and Salsa is a personal favourite.”
