DreamOval Ltd. has made a GHC500 donation to the Princess Awoonor-Williams Scholarship Fund at Ashesi University College. DreamOval, a software development company founded by five Ashesi alumni in September 2007, made the donation to honor the legacy of Dr. Princess Awoonor-Williams and to provide support for students who are struggling financially. DreamOval CEO, Derrydean Dadzie explained the donation, “We want to continue what Princess did. She always provided for those who were in need and helped those who wanted to acquire knowledge.”
Though DreamOval is just over six months old it is making major strides in the Ghanaian software industry. With a mission to provide e-business solutions to enhance businesses in the financial sector, DreamOval has developed a suite of products that are gaining attention throughout the market.
DreamOval products include Outreach, i-Wallet, and Global Virtual Stock Exchange (GVSX). Outreach is a communications solution that enables enterprises to utilize SMS and Email for business-critical communication and relationship management. Customers include Ghana Home Loans, Ashesi University College, CAL Brokers, Fidelity Bank and ADB.
i-Wallet is an online payment solution that allows customers to make purchases electronically. i-Wallet is currently undergoing a community technical review and plans to launch in November 08.
GVSX is an online portfolio management application that lets investment companies allow their clients to manage investment accounts online.
