On the evening of April 13th, alumni of Ashesi University College returned to campus to share their work experiences with students. Presentations by alumni Kofi Ocloo (Class of 2005) and Eric Acheampong (Class of 2006) highlighted the importance of their Ashesi education to their early successes at Origin8 Publicis and Mayfair Portfolio respectively.
In addition to networking with alumni, students were thrilled by a surprise activity - to develop an advertising concept for a product created by several Ashesi graduates and students. The product, named I-Wallet is a new online payment system developed specifically for the Ghanaian market. Contestants were judged on three categories: creativity, entertainment, and information quality.
