We are happy to announce that Prof. Suzanne Buchele has received Fulbright funding to extend her stay at Ashesi for another year. Prof. Buchele, who is currently teaching in Ashesi's computer science department, arrived in Ghana in August 2006 from Southwestern University in the United States. She comments that she really appreciates the academic community at Ashesi and her students. Prof. Buchele has been teaching Programming 2, software engineering, and discrete math. Prof. Buchele is a great addition to our faculty and we are very happy that she has chosen to stay with us for another year. She has taken a very active role on campus, serving on important committees such as the Honor Code Council and the Academic Programming Committee. Prof. Buchele and her family are finding living in Ghana enjoyable and fulfilling.
