Ashesi is happy to announce that its 2015 Career Fair will take place on Wednesday, 18th March 2015. The Ashesi Career Fair is a one-day annual event that brings the entire Ashesi community (students, alumni, faculty and staff) together with representatives from various organisations to interact at various career development levels.
Sponsors for this year’s event include General Electric, Fidelity Bank, Access Bank, First Atlantic Bank, Groupe Nduom Bank, Genkey, Logiciel Ghana and Growth Mosaic, Voto Mobile, Beige Capital and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation.
The Fair helps the Ashesi community gain an understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist in the work environment and also creates a platform for organisations to recruit Ashesi students and alumni. In 2014, the Career Fair had some 50 participating organisations, some of which actively recruited students on the spot.
“The annual Career Fair is about creating opportunities for networking, brainstorming and sharing recruitment opportunities with the Ashesi community,” said Abigail Lartey, Assistant Director of Career Services at Ashesi. “Each year we are excited by the diversity of organisations that honour our invitations to attend, and we hope to see more of that at this year’s fair.”
