Ashesi University Foundation is pleased to welcome Ruth Warren to the Foundation's Board of Trustees.
Ruth has spent the last fifteen years applying her marketing, communications, and business skills in support of non-profit organizations that focus on long-lasting, highly leveraged solutions. Ruth has been a longtime volunteer for Ashesi University Foundation and has also served on the board of trustees of Child Care Resources (CCR). Through her design firm, Ruth Warren Design, she has created pro-bono design and communications pieces for Ashesi, CCR, FareStart and other organizations.
Previously, Ruth was a senior product manager at Microsoft, where she gained a reputation for creating stronger communication channels between customers and developers, in the interest of developing more customer-centered products. After leaving Microsoft, Ruth chose to expand her communications skills to include visual communications, and earned a degree in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Seattle. Ruth has a BA from Barnard College of Columbia University.
