Ashesi University College is happy to announce that it will be having its 8th graduation ceremony at the Burma Camp Hall in Accra this Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 9:00am. Kwaku Sintim-Misa, CEO of Sapphire Ghana Limited and host of Metro TV’s “Thank God It’s Friday,” will be the guest speaker at this year’s graduation.

Kwaku Sintim-Misa, known popularly as “KSM”, is a director, writer, actor and satirist. He is noted for his comedic stage performances, including the “Saga of a Returnee”, where he breaks down serious subject matters through satire. KSM is also the founder and CEO of Sapphire Ghana Limited, a Leading Content Development Company in Ghana. Sapphire is most noted for its production of ”Thank God It’s Friday”. In addition to his passion for entertainment, KSM is equally as passionate about the youth and feels a particular kinship and concern for young people in Ghana.

At graduation this year, members of the class of 2012 will receive degrees in Business Administration, Computer Science and Management Information Systems. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Professor Naana J.O. Agyemang, will preside over the ceremony and confer the degrees on the Class of 2012.

Diana Dayaka Osei ‘12, who is graduating with a BSc. in Computer Science, will deliver this year’s class speech. Over 1,000 family, friends and Ashesi community members are expected to be at this year’s ceremony.
