View of new campus entranceIt is our pleasure to announce that we have met our initial capital campaign goal of $6.4 million to build a permanent home for Ashesi University. This is an exciting milestone for our organization and we are deeply grateful to our entire community for helping to make the vision a reality. We would also like to extend our thanks to Ruth Warren, our amazing Capital Campaign Chair, for leading us to this success.

The completion of the capital campaign will mean that we will have the funds to build a campus that will support 600 students.  The campus will feature,  a library, three computer labs, administrative and faculty offices, five classrooms, many conference rooms for group study and dormitories. We hope to complete construction in the spring of 2011 and start classes on the new campus in August of the same year.  The new campus will allow us the space to expand our academic programs and provides a secure foundation for future growth.

Thank you again for supporting Ashesi. Together, we are building a campus where Ashesi students from diverse ethnic, religious and national backgrounds will work together to create innovative solutions for Africa's future.
