The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the University, responsible for managing and sustaining its academic excellence and commitment to the values of ethical conduct, innovation, and civic engagement.
The President heads the Executive Committee of the University and is accountable to both the University and the Foundation Board. Working with the Executive Committee and the Board, the President provides the leadership, vision and strategic thrust necessary to achieve Ashesi’s mission, and in keeping with its core values and culture.
The President has overall responsibility for managing the academic, social, operational, and financial strength of the University.
