Ashesi has recorded another first; Ashesi is the first Private University in Ghana to receive a Fulbright Senior Specialist grant from the United States Government. This Fulbright award will be used to support the work of Prof. Richard Douglass who will be studying the needs of Ghana's health sector and evaluating the development of a health management curriculum at Ashesi. Prof. Douglass is currently a lecturer at Eastern Michigan University in the United States.
