Godson Quaye, Graduating Class of 2009, has been selected to represent Ghana at Goldman Sachs's Spring Internship Programme. Godson will be flown to London to spend 10 days working at Goldman-Sachs UK offices. The programme features seminars, rotations around the business divisions, interesting assignments and a range of social events. Through the internship Godson, hopes to gain invaluable insight into the workings of an international investment bank.
Godson said, "I want to become an expert in Industrial Relations – a specialized area in Human Resource Management. I applied to Goldman Sachs because I believe – based on its achievements as a global pacesetter and emphasis on human resources as an asset of key importance – it will be the ideal company to learn the practicalities that exist in the Human Resource field."
This is the second year in a row that an Ashesi student has been selected to participate in this globally competitive internship programme.
