Two Ashesi students have been selected to participate in the Goldman Sachs Easter Internship programme. This marks the first time that students from a university in Ghana have been given the opportunity to participate in the programme.

Kofi Baidoo and Angela Osei–Kufuor, both third year Business Administration students, were chosen after a series of interviews by a recruitment panel from Goldman Sachs. Selected students will be flown to London to participate in the programme from April 4th through 13th 2006.

The programme is designed to introduce university students from around the world to the activities of the Equities and Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities divisions of Goldman Sachs. The programme involves a wide range of events including seminars led by FICC professionals, rotations through the various business units that make up the division, challenging assignments and a host of social events.
