An annual scholarship offered by Kokrobitey Institute and the American University of Rome has for the second year running been awarded to an Ashesi student. This year's award went to Yawa Osebreh (Class of 2006). Alitalia airlines sponsored this year's award with a round-trip ticket from Accra to Rome.
Last year's winners, Mr. Abraham Nantogma (Class of 2005) and Miss Keren Mettle-Nunoo (Class of 2006), both recently returned from Rome, having successfully completed a semester at the American University of Rome with outstanding grades.
Ashesi students will also join students from the American University of Rome in the Governance and Democracy Programme run by Kokrobitey Institute.
