October 3, 2016 - Ashesi opened its first shop to give members of the community and visitors the opportunity to purchase Ashesi branded merchandise.
Located behind the school’s cafeteria, the shop stocks a variety of products ranging from stationary, mugs, t-shirts, powerbanks to sweatshirts.
“I’m excited about the shop and I hope it raises school spirit, “ said Abigail Owuwsu Amoah ‘18. “It does inculcate a sense of belonging, helping reinforce the Ashesi brand on the student.”
In addition to the branded merchandise, the shop, which is staffed by students, also features books authored by staff and faculty at Ashesi.
“It’s a great idea to be able to own something which helps us keep Ashesi in mind as alumni,” said Samuel Asenso Kumi ’16.
