Members of the Ashesi community signed a Book of Condolences, while in a brief ceremony held on the campus, a tree was planted in his memory.
The late Raymond joined the Facilities and Logistics department in 2011 as the clerk of works for the initial phase of Ashesi’s Berekuso campus. “Raymond’s passing is a great loss to us all,” said Casper at the tree planting ceremony. “He was very instrumental to our team, especially contribution to the construction of our campus. We believe he will rest in peace.”
At same ceremony, Patrick Awuah encouraged members of the community to be supportive of Raymond’s family. “Raymond was on the team that built phase one of this campus in his capacity as the clerk of works,” he said. “It is only fitting that his daughter will be able to attend college on this campus.”
