Diana Osei came to Ashesi with full vigor and has been able to excel in various academic disciplines. She was deeply involved with different activities and demonstrated leadership and service by representing Ashesi in several public forums, volunteering annually for several community service initiatives like College For Ama (CoFA) and playing a major role in the Readworm Club project at Adeiso Secondary School, which encouraged the students there to read more books.

He was a strong supporter of and contributor to the Ashesi Premier League, and helped organise a community match between Ashesi students and the people of Berekuso. Though he showed a strong dedication to his leadership and service roles, Ahmed also maintained a strong academic standing during his stay at Ashesi.

During his time as Judicial Executive Council Chairperson, Bernard relentlessly campaigned for the Ashesi honor code. Bernard also dedicated himself to community service, helping to repaint the Kyerekrom DA school in the Ashanti region, and serving as a tutor at the Rangoon Primary school in Accra as part of the African Renaissance Movement Project. For his final project he also developed a Database System for Microfinance Institutions which demonstrates his ability to bridge the gap between academia and a community need.
