Summary of event/incident: A student reported a stolen laptop, and campus security conducted a search of people in the vicinity. The laptop was eventually found in the bag of another security guard stationed in the student residence halls. The laptop was retrieved and given to the student. The case was taken up by the security company for resolution. The apprehended guard was interdicted and suspended.
